If you haven’t heard of a little show called American Idol, where have you been? Living under a rock? It’s ok. I forgive you! To be honest I haven’t watched it for some time now. But I’m so glad that I had time this past season because it was really great! When I first heard Phillip Phillips I was in love!!!! The cute face and his singing voice. Hallelujah!! Haha…he seems like a very down to earth guy just doing what he loves.
His sound is very similar to some of my absolute favorite bands ever, including Dave Matthews Band and Mumford and Sons. Like DMB and M&S, whenever I listen to Phillip Phillips I immediately get a smile on my face. Their music and voices just make me sooooo happy. I guess music in general just gets me happy, but oh well….I love Phillip Phillips! I was not surprised to watch Phillip win the title of America’s Favorite Idol. Especially after he sang his song “Home.” Now I’m so thrilled to share with you his first album “The World From the Side of the Moon!!!” I love it and can’t stop repeating it over and over again!!!
He kept his sound that we all loved and it’s a great first album. So go enjoy and have a wonderful week!!!!!
