Christmas Home Decor

Decorating for Christmas is one of my favorite winter traditions!  When I was little my whole family would go to the tree lot the day after Thanksgiving and pick out a fresh fir tree.  Strapping it to the top of the van and coming home to pull bins of lights out of the attic was always a family affair and we spent the rest of the day decorating all together.

What is fun about “traditions” these days, as we have clearly seen in wedding trends, is that they are flexible to you as an individual.  You can create traditions that fit you and your family and celebrate them each year.  If you are looking for some clever ideas, or want to start new traditions, we’ve got some inspiration for you!  Our friends were kind enough to let us peak into their homes and snap some ideas from their winter decor.  Here’s an original roundup of some of our favorite Christmas trees and decor.  These are so easy to do yourself!
