If you’ve read about the fall decor transformation in my house, you know I couldn’t conclude without decorating the front door, too! This is the perfect welcome for any home, and you still have plenty of time before Thanksgiving to throw something simple like this together. Even something simple can make a big, warm, welcoming statement!
I started by gathering all my supplies: hay bale, tree stumps, vine wreaths, beaded garland, pumpkins, fall flowers, my fall colored yarn wreath, and a step ladder.
While I had some of these supplies, I happened to pick up the beaded garland and fall colored flowers at a craft store in early October for 60% off! I was thrilled!
First, I started by unwrapping the vine wreaths. I’ve made a brief tutorial on that for you here:
Then, I simply hung the vines and garland around my columns, switched out my front plants, hung the wreath, and arranged the hay, tree stumps, and pumpkins!
I love how it turned out! A little understated, but still festive. That’s perfect for a simple lady like me!
Like that wreath on the front door? I was inspired by a cute wreath on Etsy and decided to make my own. Here is the tutorial!
